Funny... I think~

Okay, some people, people that don't know me personally, don't know that I laugh at about everything. So, if I post a joke or quote that I think is funny, and you don't think it's funny, you will know why. Here's a few I think are funny......

The true key to life, especially in the seventies.
Just like, ask the great spirit to guide you, and like whatever, and then you’ll be like “Whoah,” and others will be like, “right on man.”

My joke for the week.
When do pessimists think of the glass as half full?
When they spill it lol!~~

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Here are some wonderful quotes for an everyday Christian facing every day. "God is my parachute when I jump from the plane. It may not be comfortable on the way down, but I get down safely." Anonymous.

"Walking with God is never boring. It may not be easy, but never boring!" Anonymous.

"
You will never feel as alive as you are when you're on fire ~ Harrison Doyle

"Be thankful for everything, your worst day on earth is better than any day in hell."

Those are just a few quotes that I felt really apply to our Christian lives.

Hope you enjoyed them,

Okay...

Well, I'm mostly righting this post cuz I feel like it. Not sure anyone knows me anymore lol Oh well, it's my own doing. This year, which has been quite amazing, has gone by way too fast, so my story has little blank spots where I can't remember, or maybe that's just me lol. I got a job. ALL RIGHT!! I work at a take and bake pizza place. It's awesome. I decided I want to start dating, not serious, just for fun. I'm in my third year of pointe ballet. I'm in all the hard junior subjects not so patiently waiting for them to be OVER. I'm gonna be in a couple of dance shows and that's about it.... not that amazing or awesome, but hey whose is lol. And, surprise surprise, I've started writing again.
If anyone reads this, I just ask you to pray for me that my walk with God becomes stronger every day. Thanks.

This week...

This week went ok, but it was the most tiring I've had all year. Here is why...

  • Sunday: I had Sunday school in the morning, so I had to wake up at 6:40. Early mornings are not for me. Later in the evening I babysat for the care group. I got a great work out from chasin' all the kids. That was fun.
  • Monday: I don't remember a whole lot, but I think my sis and I babysat.
  • Tuesday: I went to dance class. We are preparing for a demonstration in May. Kinda boring, but that's ok.
  • Wednesday: My friend came over to our house, we hung out for a loong time. We had a lot of fun.
  • Thursday: We were pretty busy preparing for our slumber party. I went to dance at 4:00.
  • Friday: I turned 15 at 7:26 in the morning. My sis and I had a huge slumber party, I ended up staying up till 2:00 in the morning. I don't suggest it. That's why I'm so tired.
  • Saturday: I woke up at 6:30, for some reason I always wake up earlier than everyone at sleepovers. We played a few games with the girls we had over, then we went to the long task of bringing all of them home. Then we went to a baby shower. I got to hold the guest of honor. She was adorable.

Now, I am ready for a long nap, but instead I have to babysit this Sunday night. Thank the Lord for my long week. Now I know I don't want to have a slumber party for a loong time. ;)

We the believers....

We, as Christians, choose to live more like Christ every day. Each and every choice we make, whether big or small, helps us get closer to our goal of living as much like Christ as we can. Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (King James Version) By not conforming, we are proving to ourselves and others, what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. How do we not conform? We choose to do the opposite of what the world thinks is good and acceptable, we choose to do what God thinks is good and acceptable. Every day is a battle, because we will be, and probably have been scorned by many people for choosing not to lie, gossip, swear, drink, do drugs, and many others. The world's point of view, will most often, disagree with God's. It is a constant struggle, but our efforts will be rewarded. For the things we do that please God, no matter how small, He sees them, and they will not be forgotten. So the next time you get scorned for choosing not to follow the world's ways, know that God sees you and is with you in your struggles. Deuteronomy 31:6, Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. (King James Version) How comforting it is to know that no matter what you do, He will always be there for you.

This week...

I'm going to start a new series called "this week." It will just be about how my week went and what I did. I will post one every saturday from now on. I hope it's not too boring. So here goes.
  • Sunday: I can't even remember. Lol seems like forever ago.
  • Monday: I had a dentist appointment, I passed with flying colors. Yay.
  • Tuesday: I had dance and that's it.
  • Wednesday: I went to the highschool youth group for the very first time. Finally *rolls eyes* It took us long enough lol.
  • Thursday: More dance, not much else.
  • Friday: Absolutely nothing. Oh well.
  • Saturday: I went to see ghost rider, starring nick cage. I didn't really like it, and I don't suggest it to anyone. In my opinion, it is not worth seeing, but if curiosity gets the best of you, you'll pry go anyway. LOL (thats what I'd do). Oh, and I baked cookies and that's about it.

Sorry, it's pry a lil boring, but if it wasn't, I'd be exaggerating. Lol

First Time

Last wednesday, I finally went to the highschool youth group for the very first time. Considering I'm almost fifteen, I was way overdue. I had been going to the junior high for a looonng time. So me and my sis decided to go. We had a lot of fun. Since we didn't understand the game, we decided to duck out of it. My friend threatened to tell, but she didn't. lol The message was great, and it was way different than junior high. It was a little uncomfortable, but we decided to keep going. It helped that we know some of the girls already there.

Punctual

Have you ever met someone who is never on time? Maybe that someone is you. Being punctual is more than just being there on time. It shows people respect. It shows that you care about their schedule. Breaking the habit of being late is extremely difficult, so it is best not to start it. If you have a habit of doing everything last minute, you can be sure you're going to be late more often than not. People tend to get annoyed and impatient with a chronically late person because it disrupts their schedule. If you think you don't have enough time, do what you can to make more. Remember when you're on time you show people that you care about them and respect them enough to be there. Next time your late, and you don't have a very good reason, know that that shows people negative things about you. A punctual person gains the respect of other people as well.
